Be Your Own Boss is the annual flagship Pitch Competition of Warwick Entrepreneurs, where we give you the opportunity to pitch your ideas to esteemed judges and give you the chance to get your business idea off the ground. It is among the leading university run Business Plan Pitch Competitions in the UK.

The competition is structured in two phases to help teams develop their plans in both a collaborative and competitive environment. In addition, mentorship will be provided to the entire finalists. The Six finalist will be invited to pitch in front of a panel of highly regarded judges, investors, accomplished entrepreneurs, public figures, audience of around 200 people, and a member of the national media, as they compete for the cash prize of £500, and a Golden Ticket into the semi-final of the NACUE National Varsity Pitch Competition. February 2012 will see these finalists deliver a 5 minutes pitch followed by a 5 minutes Q&A to a high profile panel of judges.

To reiterate, this year the winner of Be Your Own Boss will receive £500 in Cash, and a Golden Ticket into the semi-final NACUE National Varsity Pitch Competition.

The first round Deadline is the 20th January 2012. Teams must complete the online form.
